RECR 3450 - Inclusion in Recreation, Parks and Leisure Services

Study of history, theories, philosophies and techniques of providing inclusive leisure services. Societal and individual barriers are discussed in relation to strategies to address these barriers, for groups such as people with disabilities, older adults, and people of color. Field-based experiences provide a perspective of leisure services with diverse populations.
