BIOL 1500 - Medical Terminology

Basic-level medical terminology using a word building system in a programmed learning format. Emphasis is on learning Latin and Greek prefixes and word roots and utilizing these to build medical terms.

Prerequisite(s): None.

Recommended elective to assist students in preprofessional programs leading to working in medicine, physical therapy, and other health care fields or for those wishing to seek advanced degrees relating to human medical research.
