The Department of Anthropology  in conjunction with the Department of Geography and the Environment  is offering a 12 credit academic certificate in urban studies. This certificate is a collaborative effort, providing undergraduates a multi-disciplinary approach to the issues, histories and scholarship surrounding urban life. In applied social sciences, cities provide both the context and content of much of our work, pedagogy and problem-solving. Course electives in the certificate will allow students to customize their preparation for graduate studies and careers that span multiple fields of practice.
