Thermodynamics, reaction rates, equilibrium, electrochemistry, organic chemistry, polymers, radioactivity and nuclear reactions, historical context, practical consequences.
Prerequisite(s): C or better in CHEM 1412 or CHEM 1413 (or CHEM 1410 with grade B or better and permission of the department), MATH 1100 or equivalent, admission to Honors College.
Corequisite(s): CHEM 1440 .
