The Mayborn School of Journalism’s certificate in sports journalism is designed to enhance writing, reporting, broadcast and multimedia skills for careers in the field of sports journalism.

Requirements
Students must have journalism major status. Students must have a minimum of 3.0 UNT GPA to apply for this certificate program and a grade of at least B is required in every course counted toward the certificate. Required courses, 13 hours
