May include critical and cultural approaches for theorizing the rhetorical creation and maintenance of political identity, social movements, campaign or war rhetoric, theories of mediated persuasion and political influence, ideological and feminist criticism of media, the rhetorical aspects of popular culture, and theories of aesthetic rhetorics.
