EADP 4050 - Social Vulnerability in Disasters

Exploration of the social vulnerability perspective in emergency management. Discussion of how social characteristics such as gender, age, disability, class, and race/ethnicity shape disaster-related needs and outcomes. Methods for conducting community vulnerability analysis are also covered.
