DSCI 5180 - Analytics Foundations for Business

Emphasis on model assumptions, applying the correct statistical model and interpreting the results. Topics include interpretation of statistical distributions (specifically normal distribution), construction and interpretation of confidence intervals, determination of appropriate sample size, statistical inference from data including single sample and multi-sample hypothesis testing, and regression analysis (both simple and multiple regression).
