BEHV 5028 - Autism I: Conceptual/Methodological Issues in Applied Behavior Analysis

Describes basic conceptual and methodological issues involved in behavior analysis and autism. Topics studied include theories and controversies regarding etiology and assessment, distinctions between behavioral and alternative approaches to treatment, comparisons of treatment formats, and critical review of curriculum options.

Prerequisite(s): Formal admission to the MS in Behavior Analysis program or consent of instructor.

Corequisite(s): BEHV 5810  concurrent enrollment is strongly suggested.
