Examines the structure, origins, and processes operating in the world’s oceans. Covers the interactions among geology, chemistry, physics, climatology, environmental science, and biology in ocean contexts. Explores the impacts of humans on ocean life, environments, and global society.
Prerequisite(s): GEOG 1710 or GEOL 1610 or by consent of department.
