EADP 1010 - Exploring Disasters

Provides an introduction to hazards and disasters and the impacts they have on society. Emphasis is given to the role of culture in shaping risks, vulnerability and resilience. Students will explore the breadth of the emergency management and disaster science fields as well as the causes and consequences of major historical and contemporary disasters.
