AGER 6420 - Health Services Research

3 hours

Advanced research class featuring methods employed in health services research. Students use methods applied in health services research to perform a health services research project, based either on data from a health services provider or an appropriate existing data set (e.g., the National Health Interview Survey, an American Hospital Association Annual Survey, a local health provider, or so on). Convenes in a computer classroom. Student activity includes development of a research plan (possibly in consultation with a health provider), and students undertake analysis and include at least preliminary interpretation of results.

Prerequisite(s): BUSI 6240  or equivalent.
