RECR 4100 - Internship in Recreation, Parks and Leisure Services

3–12 hours

In-depth field experience in an approved recreation, sport, leisure service, or therapeutic recreation agency. Emphasis is placed on application of knowledge and skills to actual job roles and responsibilities.

Prerequisite(s): RECR 1950, RECR 2150, RECR 2550, RECR 3050, RECR 3450, RECR 4050, RECR 4080, RECR 4150, RECR 4160, RECR 4180. Consent of department; if therapeutic recreation, must complete RECR 3500, RECR 4560 and RECR 4760.

May be repeated for credit up to a maximum of 12 hours.
