To be admitted into this program, students must complete the following courses:
This certificate requires 18 hours of courses:
These five courses must be selected from the following:
Any other course must receive approval from the undergraduate advisor of the Department of Mathematics. a. Mathematics, for students not majoring in mathematics
(For math majors, these classes may not be used for fulfilling certificate requirements.) c. Risk Management and Insurance
Students are also encouraged to seek internships that may be pursued in conjunction with RMIN 4800 . This program should prepare students for the preliminary actuarial exams, as follows:
