Computer Science minor

A graduate minor in computer science requires 9 semester credit hours of graduate credit to be completed in addition to the courses already required for the student’s major program requirements.

Course work, 9 hours

Students must choose three courses from the following:

CSCE 5170 - Graph Theory
CSCE 5210 - Artificial Intelligence
CSCE 5350 - Fundamentals of Database Systems
CSCE 5400 - Formal Languages, Automata and Computability
CSCE 5430 - Software Engineering
CSCE 5450 - Programming Languages
CSCE 5550 - Introduction to Computer Security
CSCE 5580 - Computer Networks
CSCE 5610 - Computer System Architecture
CSCE 5640 - Operating System Design
CSCE 5650 - Compiler Design
