Requirements of this program consist of a minimum of 36 semester hours of course work. A grade of B or better is required in every course in these 36 hours. All students must pass a written comprehensive exam. Students must complete 15 hours of core courses and at least 15 hours of Category II electives. The remaining 6 hours can be chosen from the list of Category I electives, Master’s Thesis (ECON 5950 ), Research Problems in Lieu of Thesis (ECON 5920 -ECON 5930 ), or a 6-hour minor approved by the graduate advisor.
