Requirements of this program consist of a minimum of 36 semester hours of course work. All students must pass a written comprehensive exam. Students must complete 15 hours of core courses and at least 15 hours of Level 1 electives. The remaining 6 hours can be chosen from the list of Level 2 electives, Master’s Thesis (ECON 5950), Research Problems in Lieu of Thesis (ECON 5920-ECON 5930), or a 6-hour minor approved by the graduate advisor.
