Admission requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education, with an undergraduate GPA of 2.8 overall or 3.0 in the last 60 hours. (GPA based on a 4.0 scale.)
2. Passing score on the 4–8 Science Pre-admission Content Test (PACT).

Program requirements

Secondary teaching or practicum, 6 hours

Either student teaching EDEE 5103  and EDEE 5104  (taken concurrently) or practicum for students hired as teachers of record on probationary teacher certificate, EDSE 5105  and EDSE 5115  (one in each of two consecutive long terms/semesters).
