CSCE 1015 - Computing Tools and Techniques Laboratory

Fills in the “missing” information needed to become a successful, working computer scientist/engineer. A hands-on introduction to the tools, techniques, and procedures needed to be successful in future courses and careers. Topics include: Linux, containerization/virtualization, version control with Git, IDEs (Integrated Development Environments), testing/debugging/profiling code, secure coding practices, PKI (public key infrastructure) cryptography, tool automation, basic networking.
Prerequisite(s): None.
Corequisite(s): CSCE 1030 or CSCE 1035 .
