Limits and continuity, definition of derivative, tangent lines, power, product, quotient and chain rules, implicit differentiation, linear approximation, related rates, maxima and minima, applications to graphing, optimization, Newton’s method.
Prerequisite(s): Grade of A, B, or C in MATH 1650 , or grade of A, B or C in both MATH 1600 and MATH 1610 .
