CSCE 4127 - Digital Logic and Computer Organization Concepts
4 hours (4;0;1)
Discusses the computer systems and its organization, number systems, instruction sets, computer arithmetic, design of combinational and sequential circuits, data and control paths, memory hierarchies. Also introduces assembly language programming to help students write better high-level language programs. Specifically designed as a supporting area course for the IT majors.
Prerequisite(s): CSCE 2100 completed with C or better. This course is for BA in IT majors only.
May not be used in place of CSCE 2610 or EENG 2710 for other majors.
