RESM 2150 - Leadership in Recreation, Event, and Sport Organizations
3 hours (2;1)
Study of the theories and practices related to leadership in the recreation, event and sport management professions. Emphasis is placed on leader development topics such as communication, conflict resolution, team building and motivation skills. Experiential learning opportunities are offered. Students assess their leadership strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities and create a professional development plan to help them become successful leaders.
