Functional keyboard skills combined with the application of music theory principles at the piano (progressions, sight reading, harmonization and transposition) for jazz studies major. Includes harmonization of jazz lead sheets using 2 and 3 note voicings.

Prerequisite(s): MUAG 1012 with grade of C or better.

Corequisite(s): MUJS 2400 and MUJS 2410.
