LING 3070 - Introduction to Linguistics



3 hours

Introduces students to the richness and complexity of human language. Focuses on the fundamentals of phonetics, phonology, morphology syntax, semantics and pragmatics.

Prerequisite(s): For linguistics majors and minors only. Consent of linguistics program undergraduate advisor is required for non-majors. Students that have taken LING 3060  as a non-major must complete LING 3070 if they are pursuing a major or minor in linguistics.
