AARS 6810 - Global Perspectives on Aging and Disability3 hours
Explores current trends in individual and population aging and their implications for future societies in which even larger numbers of individuals will live to a more advanced age. Includes a focus on demographic, social structures and policies, family and cultural issues, and the impact of acquiring a disability or chronic illness.
Prerequisite(s): Admission to the doctoral program in health sciences or a related doctoral program, or consent of instructor.
