Introduction to computational problems inspired by the life sciences and overview of available tools. Methods to compute sequence alignments, regulatory motifs, phylogenetic trees and restriction maps.

Prerequisite(s): Consent of instructor.

Same as MATH 4810 and CSCE 4810.
