Provides an in-depth analysis of selected special topics in ethnic studies. Emphasis on the advance of knowledge and skills for the development of a culturally sustaining curriculum that facilitates student and teacher empowerment. Specific content will be determined by the particular interest and expertise of the instructor and specific needs and interests of students.

Prerequisite(s): Admission to teacher education program; EDCI 3400
