HIST 4462 - Religion in American History

Uses “religion” as a category of historical analysis to examine the diversity of religious belief, practice, and experience in the American past and present and how religion and American culture have shaped and reshaped each other over time. Explores the ways in which religious affiliation and belief have shaped social, economic, and political power in America.
