Fundamentals of writing, reporting and information gathering for a variety of journalism professions including advertising, newspapers, public relations, broadcast and web.

Prerequisite(s): Passing score on the grammar, spelling and punctuation exam; ENGL 1310 and ENGL 1320 with a grade of C or better; journalism major or minor status; consent of school.
