AARS 6820 - Community Integration and Participation3 hours
Examines strength-based and socioecological approaches to promote health and increase community participation among elderly individuals, including those with disabilities and chronic illness. Legislation, social policies, and strategies designed to impact full social participation by members of these vulnerable populations are critically examined.
Prerequisite(s): Admission to the doctoral program in health sciences or related doctoral program; or consent of instructor.
