Topics include Spanish-American War; WWI; WWII; isolationism and interventionism; the impact of/on foreign policy on/of domestic politics, race, gender, culture, economics, and technology; the impact of individuals on foreign policy; competing rationalizations for American conduct and interventions; and historiographical debates and controversies concerning early 20th century U.S. foreign policy.
