MUCE 4020 - Performing Arts Management in Music

Explores the structure and operation of performing arts organizations, with a focus on nonprofits, while exploring business functions such as marketing, fundraising, artistic operations, public relations and finance. Through real-life projects and guest speakers from the DFW area and beyond, students gain a greater understanding of what makes a successful performing arts organization and the current issues facing these organizations today.

Prerequisite(s): Successful completion of all proficiencies (Theory Proficiency, Piano Proficiency, and Upper Division Exam).
