RECR 4100 - Internship in Recreation, Parks and Leisure Services
3–12 hours
In-depth field experience in an approved recreation, sport, leisure service, or therapeutic recreation agency. Emphasis is placed on application of knowledge and skills to actual job roles and responsibilities.
Prerequisite(s): RECR 1950 , RECR 2150 , RECR 2550 , RECR 3050 , RECR 3450 , RECR 4050 , RECR 4080 , RECR 4150 , RECR 4160 , RECR 4180 . Consent of department; if therapeutic recreation, must complete RECR 3500 , RECR 4560 and RECR 4760 .
May be repeated for credit up to a maximum of 12 hours.
